Separating from Navy ~ Wife is Pregnant -- Financial Anxiety Advice Needed?
First off, Thank you for your service to our country. Now being in the Navy, you were taught how to be a problem solver. Have you thought about getting some training in the building trades business, ie: plumbing, electrical, HVAC, framer or other trade that needs people who work with their hands. The pay, starting out is ok, but once you get your certification, there are big bucks to be made out there, $40-$60,000 a year and most employers provide insurance coverage to your family. In a lot of areas around the country, employer's can't find enough qualified people to do the jobs that they have available. Some even will pay for your schooling to get you to hire on with them. Good luck and congratulations on your new child...
