Why do people badmouth the military when soldiers are just following orders?

i know for a long time i use to badmouth the military until i realized that I am actually badmouthing the wrong ones. I feel that soldiers are just following orders. I feel few soldiers want to be in Iraq or afghanistan. I feel fewer even know why they are really there. I know for myself it is hard to want to join the military as most of the wars i disagreed with strongly. the Revolutionary war was fought against my family . I am descended from the Royal houses of Great Britain. I do not feel Communism was ever a threat. I studied how people in the Soviet Union lived and I find it appealing. I would love to have my nation educate me, place me in employment and provide my basic needs. I think when people badmouth the military that they target the wrong ones. it is really their fault for electing warmongers for leaders.
